How do I become a member of Affluence.org?

First, you will want to complete your profile 100% with valid and accurate information. An incomplete profile will not be approved. You can qualify to be a member of Affluence one of three ways.

  • Have a household net worth of more than the equivalent of US $3 million
  • Have an annual household income of more than the equivalent of US $300,000.
  • You can automatically qualify for membership if you invite 5 friends that signup as members.
Please note that your financial information is not displayed on your public profile or disclosed to other members.

Why do I have to provide my personal financial information?

Like many exclusive membership organizations, like country clubs, Affluence uses a proprietary process to ensure that a person meets our minimum financial requirements for membership.  To do this effectively, the accuracy of the information that you provide to us during the registration process, such as name, date of birth, and where you live, is critical.  Affluence uses a proprietary algorithm to poll public records and derive a confidence coefficient to determine if your reported net worth or income are accurate.  In order to perform this check and derive our confidence coefficient, we must have a base number to test against.  We use your reported net worth and annual income as this base number. We believe this is the most accurate way to validate a persons reported net worth or annual income.

Because our process is not 100% accurate, we allow users to submit proof of their financial status in the form of source documents if their profile is declined.  All information you submit to us is kept confidential pursuant to the terms of our privacy policy.

How does Affluence verify my profile?

The first step is to determine if your self reported net worth or income meets the minimum net worth requirements for membership.  To become a member of Affluence, you must have a minimum net worth of at least US$3 million or an annual income of at least $300,000.

If a member's self reported data meets our minimum requirements, then we do a search of various public records based on your name, birth date, and place of residence.  During this process, variables like IP location to address are also taken into consideration.  The information derived from this process is used to compile a confidence coefficient related to your self reported data.  If our confidence coefficient meets our minimum requirements, then your profile is put into a queue for human review.  At this point, a profile is reviewed by an employee of Affluence Corporation, Google and other searches may be done on your name, and a valid profile may be approved.

Another way to ensure your profile is approved is to prove that you are influential by inviting at least 5 people that qualify for membership on their own financial merits.  Your profile will automatically be approved when the 5th profile gets approved.

I have completed my profile, why am I not approved?

Verifying the information that you provide to us is vital to maintaining the exclusivity that makes Affluence.org a valuable social networking website. Once your profile has been approved or declined you will receive an email notification to the email address you registered with.

My profile has been declined, what happens now?
